
| Designate as rescuers the necessary number of people and ensure that they register with an organization recognized by the CSST to issue a first-aider certificate. | |

| The Regulations on minimum standards on first aid * stipulates that every employer in a business or on a construction site must ensure the presence of a minimum number of skilled rescuers, at all times during working hours. | |
| This regulation applies to any premise, except of Social Affairs network, specialy those providing health services (RSQ, c.. S-5), which has a medical staff or nurses qualified to give first aid needed to workers in the place. |
